Host: Mrs Angela Olivee
Venue: Casebrook Intermediate
Fees: $30 individual

Mr Mantjika is bringing a revolutionary seminar down to us here in Christchurch in November. Just in time for our dan grading candidates to get some much needed extra training in :)

This seminar will be a little different than your normal, kicking and punching, or patterns techniques seminar!

Topics for the seminar will be:

Priciple of "ilgap pilsung" - ie one blow is "sufficient for victory"
How do we develop this....
First in patterns, then in sparring.

Applying the "training secrets of TKD" as stated by General Choi. How this is the principles of "ki extension" as mentioned in other styles.

Lessons of hip power and sine wave in our patterns, and proof it works by testing on power breaking in popular shows of "one inch punches " etc.

Hidden lessons within the patterns on how to breathe correctly, and hidden lessons in Yul Gok to show strength in the "magic" angle of hand positions in our tkd moves.
Test of power and strength without tensing. Power and strength in breath and relaxation.

Finally, how all this applies in actual combat (not tournament sparring).

Tempering and conditioning of attacking tools.
